Rajpal's manager said, "If all goes well, we will hold a press conference." He said, "The bail hearing is on Thursday, and if all goes well, we will hold a press conference." Rajpal Yadav surrendered in Tihar Jail on February 5th in the cheque bounce case. However, he also filed a final plea for relief, which was rejected by the Delhi High Court, resulting in a six-month jail sentence for him.
How did this Rajpal Yadav case originate?
The Beginning
It should be noted that this entire matter began in 2010. He borrowed ₹5 crore from Murli Projects Private Limited for his directorial debut, "Aata Pata Lapata," but the film flopped at the box office. Rajpal was subsequently unable to repay the money to the company. The company subsequently filed a case against him for non-payment and check bouncing. In its recent ruling, the Delhi High Court stated that Yadav must pay ₹1.35 crore in each of the seven cases filed against him and directed that the amount previously deposited with the Registrar General of the High Court be released to the complainants.
Rajpal Yadav's wife Radha Yadav thanked everyone.
Rajpal Yadav's wife Radha Yadav said on Wednesday that many people from the film industry have come forward to support him after he surrendered to Tihar Jail in the check bouncing cases. She told PTI, "Everyone is standing with him. The film industry has been very supportive." We are incredibly grateful to everyone who is coming forward to help.
Sonu Sood had said, "A small signing amount is not a donation, but an honor."
It's worth noting that Sonu Sood was the first from the industry to come forward in support of Yadav. He said that he would cast Rajpal Yadav in one of his films and was offering him a "signing amount" as advance payment. Appealing to others to come forward, Sood said, "A small signing amount, adjusted against future work, is not a donation, but an honor. When one of us is going through a difficult time... this is the way to show that we are more than just an industry." Rajpal Yadav is known for films like "Mujhse Shaadi Karogi," "Waqt," "Phir Hera Pheri," "Partner," "Bhool Bhulaiyaa," "Hungama," and "Chup Chup Ke."
