New Delhi: 7 legendary cricketers have entered the ICC Hall of Fame. ICC has included 5 male and 2 female cricketers in it. ICC's program A Day with the Legends was organized in London. During this, Ian Bishop announced the names of the players included in the Hall of Fame. This Hall of Fame, which started in 2009, had 115 names till now. Now with the entry of 7 names, its number has become 11.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni's name included
Mahendra Singh Dhoni's name is also among the cricketers included in the ICC Hall of Fame. Under Dhoni's captaincy, India won the 2007 T20 World Cup, the 2011 ODI World Cup and the 2013 Champions Trophy. Dhoni, who retired from international cricket in 2020, has 17266 runs in international cricket. Apart from Mahendra Singh Dhoni, South Africa's legendary opener Hashil Amla's name is also in the ICC Hall of Fame. Australia's dashing opener Matthew Hayden has also got a place in it. At one time Hayden held the record of playing the biggest innings of 380 runs in Tests. Graeme Smith, the captain who has won the most Test matches, has also joined it. Smith got the captaincy of South Africa at the age of 22. The 5th and last male player included in it is Daniel Vettori of New Zealand.
