    Mumbai Indians Women beat Delhi Capitals Women by 50 runs in WPL 2026

    MIW vs DCW: In the third league match of the Women's Premier League 2026, the Mumbai Indians Women's cricket team faced the Delhi Capitals Women's cricket team. In this match, Mumbai defeated Delhi by 50 runs thanks to half-centuries from captain Harmanpreet Kaur and Sciver-Brunt, followed by lethal bowling from Nicola Carey and Amelia Kerr.


    In this match, Delhi won the toss and elected to bowl first. Mumbai, batting first, scored 195 runs for 4 wickets in 20 overs, setting a target of 196 for Delhi. In reply, the Delhi team was all out for 145 runs in 19 overs and suffered a defeat. With this win, Mumbai opened their winning account after a loss in the first match and earned 2 points.


    Mumbai's Innings, Brunt and Harmanpreet's Half-Centuries

    Mumbai opener Amelia Kerr was dismissed without scoring. G Kamalini scored 16 runs before being dismissed. Sciver-Brunt scored a half-century off 30 balls and was dismissed after scoring 70 runs. Harmanpreet Kaur completed her half-century with a six off 34 balls and played an unbeaten innings of 74 runs off 42 balls. This was Harmanpreet Kaur's 9th T20 half-century. Nicola Carey scored 21 runs. For Delhi Capitals, Nandini Sharma took 2 wickets.


    Delhi's Innings, Jemimah Scores One Run

    Captain Jemimah scored one run while Lizelle Lee was dismissed for 10 runs. Shafali Verma scored 8 runs in this match, while Laura Wolvaardt contributed 9. Marizanne Kapp was dismissed for 10 runs, and Nikki Prasad for 12. Chinelle Henry scored a half-century off 30 balls before being dismissed for 56. For Mumbai, Nicola Carey and Amelia Kerr took 3 wickets each. Nat Sciver-Brunt also claimed 2 wickets.

    Shafali Verma, Lizelle Lee (wicketkeeper), Laura Wolvaardt, Jemimah Rodrigues (captain), Marizanne Kapp, Nikki Prasad, Chinelle Henry, Sneh Rana, Minnu Mani, Shri Charan, Nandini Sharma.
