26-year-old Priya Saroj, SP MP from Machhlishahr, put a ring on cricketer Rinku Singh's finger in a grand ceremony held at a hotel in Lucknow. It is being said that Priya and Rinku have put a ring worth about two and a half lakh rupees on each other. Priya Saroj's tears welled up on this occasion. She was seen wiping her tears on the stage. After the ring ceremony, Rinku Singh and Priya Saroj raised their hands and showed their rings to everyone. The entire SP family including Akhilesh Yadav, Dimple Yadav, Jaya Bachchan, Ram Gopal Yadav and Shivpal Yadav were seen in the program.

The stage was decorated for the ring ceremony at the five star hotel The Centrum. Rinku Singh and Priya Saroj reached the stage amidst the tune of songs and were seen laughing while sitting on the sofa.

SP President Akhilesh Yadav was seen talking to Indian Cricket Board official Rajiv Shukla during the ceremony. Dimple Yadav and Jaya Bachchan were also seen in this program.

Priya Saroj seen in pink lehenga

In January this year, information about the love affair between Priya Saroj and Rinku Singh came to light. Priya met Rinku Singh through the father of Priya Saroj's friend. Priya Saroj is the SP MP from Machhlishahr. She was seen in a pink lehenga in the ring ceremony.

Jaya Bachchan laughed

Around 300 VIP guests were seen in the engagement program. Many cricketers were also included in them. BCCI official Rajiv Shukla kept talking to Akhilesh Yadav and Jaya Bachchan for a long time.

Awadhi dishes were served to the guests

Many Awadhi dishes were served to the guests in Priya and Rinku's engagement program. Bengali sweets included Rasgulla, Kaju Paneer Roll. Rinku's favorite Paneer Tikka and Matar Malai were also served. The entire menu was vegetarian. Welcome drink 'Kuhada' (coconut based) was given. Starters included European, Chinese, Asian and Indian dishes. Main course included Malai Kofta, Kadhai Paneer, Mix Veg, Manchurian, Spring Roll and Noodles.
