Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker has been accused of sexual misconduct by six massage therapists. According to the allegations, these incidents took place at various spas and wellness centers in Baltimore between 2012 and 2016.
What are the allegations?
According to the Baltimore Banner report, six massage therapists accused Tucker, saying that he:
Exposed his nudity.
Touched two women with his naked genitals.
Left suspicious fluid on the massage table of three therapists.
Several women ended the session midway and refused to work with Tucker again.
What do the therapists say?
Five women said that Tucker demanded massages of their pelvic area and inner thighs. She alleged that Tucker repeatedly tried to remove the sheet by moving his waist, leaving her body fully or partially exposed.
Response from spas and lawyers
A representative for one local spa said Tucker was immediately removed from the client list after the 2014 incident.
An attorney for another spa said they had banned Tucker from their spa and ensured their business remained safe for everyone.
Tucker's response
Tucker, 35, issued a statement on social media on Thursday denying all the allegations. He said:
"These allegations are completely false and without merit."
His lawyers also denied the allegations, saying:
"These allegations are implausible and our client was never banned from these spas."
NFL's response and possible action
The NFL said in a statement that they would take these allegations seriously and investigate the matter.
If the league launches an investigation, Tucker could face punishment.
Earlier, Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson was suspended for 11 games and fined $5 million after 24 women accused him of sexual misconduct during massage therapy.
No criminal complaint has been filed in the case, and according to legal experts, the time limit on the charges has expired. However, it will be interesting to see what action the NFL takes on this.
