Sarfraz Ahmed comments on India after Pakistan win Under-19 Asia Cup

New Delhi: The final of the Under-19 Asia Cup 2025 was played between India and Pakistan in Dubai on December 21st. Pakistan registered a one-sided victory in the title match. Pakistan defeated India by a huge margin of 191 runs. After losing the toss and batting first, Pakistan set a target of 348 runs for India. Chasing the massive target, India was all out for 156 runs in 26.2 overs. After winning the final, Pakistan team mentor Sarfraz Ahmed made a big statement about the Indian team.

What did Sarfraz Ahmed say about the Under-19 Indian team?

During a media conference, Sarfraz Ahmed said, "I have played against the Indian team before, but the Indian team at that time respected the game. But sitting outside, I felt that this current team's attitude towards the game was not good, and their conduct in cricket was unethical. You must have seen on the screen what kind of gestures their players made. But we celebrated our victory with sportsmanship, because there should always be sportsmanship in cricket; what India did was their choice."

Earlier, an audio clip of Sarfraz Ahmed from the final is also going viral on social media, in which he was using abusive language for the Indian players. There was also an argument between Pakistani bowler Ali Raza and Indian players Ayush Mhatre and Vaibhav Suryavanshi during the final. He was saying something after dismissing the Indian players.

He led Pakistan to victory against India in the 2017 Champions Trophy.

The final of the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy was played between India and Pakistan. At that time, Sarfraz Ahmed was the captain of the Pakistan team. The Pakistan team, under his captaincy, defeated India by 180 runs in the final.
