    Spanish PM Pedro Sanchez arrives in Delhi for AI Impact Summit

    Spanish PM Pedro Sanchez arrives in Delhi for AI Impact Summit

    New Delhi: Spanish President Pedro Sanchez is visiting India to participate in the India AI-Impact Summit. He was welcomed at the airport on Tuesday morning by Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Jayant Chaudhary. President Sanchez's visit to India will further accelerate the ongoing celebrations of the India-Spain Biennial of Culture, Tourism, and AI.


    Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal posted on social media on Tuesday about the Spanish President's arrival in India. He stated that Minister Jayant Chaudhary arrived at the airport to receive him. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, Sanchez's visit will promote India-Spain's culture, tourism, and AI partnerships.

    The world's largest AI forum

    The India AI-Impact Summit kicked off on February 16th. Leaders from across the globe have already begun arriving to attend the summit. This summit is the world's largest AI forum, bringing together national leaders, technology company CEOs, academic experts, and civil society to shape the direction of AI policy.


    Summit Participation from 13 Countries

    The summit is seeing participation from 13 countries, including Australia, Japan, Russia, the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and several African countries. Over 300 curated pavilions have been set up based on three key themes: people, planet, and progress. Over 600 high-potential startups are showcasing their AI models, solutions, and technologies with global impact. Experts view this as a strong sign of India's rapidly growing AI economy.
