Trump Unhappy with iPhone Production in India, Calls It a 'Problem' with Tim Cook

Apple: During his Qatar tour, Trump said that he has a little 'problem' with Tim Cook. This is regarding Apple's increasing production in India. According to Trump, Apple is constantly increasing production in India. He doesn't want this.

US President Donald Trump's attitude towards India does not seem comfortable. A glimpse of this was seen during the Indo-Pak tension. Trump is now bent on breaking India's hopes. He doesn't want Apple to produce iPhones in India. He wants more Apple products to be made in America. It is worth noting that Apple is constantly increasing its production in India. It wants to shift most of the manufacturing in China to India. At the same time, there are preparations to make the rest of Apple's products like iPad, Mac in Vietnam.

    Trump's conversation with Tim Cook

According to reports, the US President has talked to Apple CEO Tim Cook about this. During his Qatar tour, Trump said that he has a little 'problem' with Tim Cook. This problem is about Apple's increasing production in India. According to Trump, Apple is continuously increasing the production of iPhones in India. He does not want this. Trump wants the company to increase its production in America.

It is worth noting that the production of iPhones is being increased through many manufacturing units in the country. Before the tariff was implemented, Apple had loaded iPhones in many airplanes and sent them from India to America, so that prices would not have to be increased in America. Meanwhile, Trump has indicated that now Apple will increase its production in America.

iPhone 17 series may become expensive

It has also been revealed in the reports that Apple can shock all those users who are waiting for the launch of iPhone 17 series. The company can change the design and other features of the upcoming iPhone series, but people will have to spend more to buy the phone. The reason for this is the ongoing tension between America and China, but the company is avoiding saying so openly.

India's plans may get a setback

If the US President's attitude remains the same, India's plans may get a setback. Apple is one of the world's leading companies and now its market share is increasing in India as well. Recent data has shown that Apple has become one of the top-5 companies in India. If Apple backs out from its plans in India, then its manufacturing in the country is sure to be affected. It is also interesting that President Trump is showing this attitude towards India but he has not said anything for Vietnam.
