    Who is Hanumankind? The Rapper Praised by PM Modi in ‘Mann Ki Baat

    New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday praised Kerala-born rapper Suraj Cherukat. Suraj is also known as 'Hanumankind'. He has taken India's culture to the world through his new song 'Run It Up'. PM Modi praised Hanumankind for promoting India's traditional culture to the world with his song 'Run It Up'. PM Modi said this while referring to him in the 120th episode of his monthly radio program 'Mann Ki Baat'.


    Praising Hanumankind's new song 'Run It Up'


    Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the sports of our country are now becoming the choice of the people. Rapper Hanumankind's new song 'Run It Up' is becoming very famous these days. He told that it includes our traditional martial arts like Kalari-Payattu, Gatka and Thang-Ta. I congratulate Hanumankind that due to his efforts people of the world are getting to know about our traditional martial arts.

    Hanumankind's new song 'Run It Up' has topped the official Asian music chart for the third consecutive week. Earlier, his song 'Big Dogs' was also a hit. It also surpassed Kendrick Lamar's 'Not Like Us' in Spotify's top 50 for some time. The video of this song shows different cultures of India. It also includes folk traditions and traditional martial arts.


    PM wishes for Chaitra Navratri and Eid

    Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Kerala-born rapper Suraj Cherukat in the 'Mann Ki Baat' program on Sunday. Apart from this, PM Modi wished people on Chaitra Navratri, Eid and other upcoming festivals. He said that today is the beginning of Chaitra Navratri. The Indian New Year is also starting from today.
