On many occasions he was seen sitting in the stands with Virat Kohli's wife Anushka Sharma. Sosale has been associated with the franchise since the early years. According to linkedin, he leads the design, strategy and delivery of the business and marketing charter of the leading brand and commercial program in the IPL.
KSCA officials absconding
The police have also detained three employees of DNA Entertainment Networks Pvt Ltd. The names of the arrested employees are Kiran, Sumanth and Sunil Mathew. They are being questioned at the Cubbon Park Police Station. An FIR has been registered in the same station regarding the stampede. Karnataka government and RCB announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh each
The Karnataka government and RCB have announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh each to the families of the 11 fans who died in the accident, while the government has said that the injured will be given free treatment. However, both are facing terrible trolling on social media.
How the celebration turned into mourning
According to sources, the RCB management did not consult the police before tweeting about the victory parade. Their tweet went viral and was viewed by millions of people. Later, they sought permission from the police for the parade but were not granted permission. This action comes after the Karnataka government suspended several senior police officers, including Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayanand. The government has found these officials guilty of not making proper arrangements to prevent the stampede.
Karnataka government is being criticized
The Karnataka government is facing severe criticism for this incident. Critics say that the stampede happened due to the negligence of the government. The BJP has demanded the resignation of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar. According to reports, Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar was posing for pictures with the IPL 2025 winning team inside the stadium, while he had been informed about the stampede. A source said about the incident, 'RCB management did not consult the police before tweeting about the victory parade.' This means that RCB put the information on social media without thinking, which led to the crowd gathering and the stampede.
