    WPL 2026 final: RCB to face Delhi Capitals on February 5 in Vadodara

    Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals will meet in the Women’s Premier League 2026 title match, scheduled to be held at Vadodara’s main venue.

    WPL 2026 final: RCB to face Delhi Capitals on February 5 in Vadodara

    Vadodara: The Women's Premier League 2026 title match will be played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals. RCB, by finishing at the top of the league's points table, secured a direct entry into the final. The eliminator match was played between Gujarat Giants and Delhi Capitals, who finished second and third respectively. Jemimah Rodrigues-led Delhi Capitals won that match by 7 wickets to book their place in the final. This is Delhi's fourth appearance in the final, while it will be RCB's second title match. Smriti Mandhana is the captain of RCB.


    When will the WPL Final be held?

    The Women's Premier League 2026 title match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals will be played on February 5th. The match will be held at the Baroda Cricket Association Stadium in Vadodara. The match will start at 7:30 PM Indian Standard Time. The toss will take place at 7:00 PM. Delhi has not yet won the league title. RCB won the 2024 season by defeating Delhi.


    Delhi has already defeated RCB

    RCB has shown a strong performance this season. In the league round, the team won 5 consecutive matches to enter the playoffs. Delhi Capitals was the team that stopped RCB's winning streak. In the 15th match of the season, Delhi defeated RCB by 7 wickets. That match was also played in Vadodara. The two teams have played 9 matches against each other so far. Delhi has won 6 of them, while RCB has won three. The two teams are as follows:

    Royal Challengers Bangalore: Grace Harris, Smriti Mandhana (captain), Georgia Voll, Gautami Naik, Richa Ghosh (wicketkeeper), Nadine de Klerk, Radha Yadav, Shreyanka Patil, Prema Rawat, Sayali Satghare, Lauren Bell, Prathyusha Kumar, Arundhati Reddy, Dayalan Hemalatha, Pooja Vastrakar, Linsey Smith.


    Delhi Capitals: Shafali Verma, Lizelle Lee (wicketkeeper), Laura Wolvaardt, Jemimah Rodrigues (captain), Marizanne Kapp, Nikki Prasad, Sneh Rana, Lucy Hamilton, Sri Charan, Nandini Sharma, Minnu Mani, Taniya Bhatia, Alana King, Chinelle Henry, Pragati Singh, Eddala Srujana.
