    14-Year-Old Vaibhav Suryavanshi Smashes Six on Debut, Breaks Down After Dismissal

    IPL 2025: Rajasthan Royals and Lucknow Super Giants faced each other. Riyan Parag captained in place of Sanju Samson. Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored 34 runs on his debut. He hit a six off the first ball. Vaibhav became the 10th player to do so in IPL history. He got emotional when he got out.


    Jaipur: Rajasthan Royals team was playing against Lucknow Super Giants at their home ground Sawai Mansingh Stadium. RR got a target of 181 runs to win. Sanju Samson was not fully fit, so Riyan Parag was captaining the team. He gave a chance to 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi as an impact player. Vaibhav played a brilliant innings of 34 runs in 20 balls.


    Vaibhav Suryavanshi came out to open

    Vaibhav Suryavanshi got a chance to open with Yashasvi Jaiswal. Vaibhav opened his account by hitting a six off the very first ball. He became the 10th player to do so in IPL history. He is the 10th player to do so as an Indian player. Vaibhav hit 2 fours and 3 sixes in his innings. His strike rate was 170. RR bought him for Rs 1 crore 10 lakh in the IPL 2025 mega auction.


    Started crying after getting out

    Vaibhav Suryavanshi was out on the ball of Aiden Markram. While trying to play Markram's ball, he was deceived and wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant stumped him out. Vaibhav Suryavanshi became very emotional when he got out. Tears were coming out of his eyes. Many people were surprised to see this. Its video is going viral very fast on social media.


    Youngest player to play in IPL

    Vaibhav Suryavanshi is the youngest player to play in IPL. He made his debut at the age of just 14 years and 23 days. He is a resident of Samastipur, Bihar. Currently Suryavanshi is also a part of India's Under-19 team. Talking about this match, Rajasthan Royals had to face defeat. Batting first, Lucknow scored 180 runs. Despite the explosive start, Rajasthan's team could only score 178 runs. This is the team's sixth defeat in 8 matches.
