After England Lose Ashes Series in Australia, Rohit Sharma Reacts to Ben Stokes’ Team

New Delhi: The England team has lost the Ashes series. Australia won the first three matches of the 5-match series. With this defeat, England's dream of winning the Ashes was shattered once again. The England team has not been able to win the Ashes for almost a decade. World number 1 ODI batsman Rohit Sharma has taken a dig at the England cricket team. He said that playing in Australia is the most difficult, and this can be confirmed by asking England.

What did Rohit say about England?

Rohit Sharma scored a century and a half-century in the three-match ODI series during his tour of Australia in October. Speaking at an event in Gurugram, the former Indian captain said, "Playing in Australia is the most difficult, you can ask England."

The England team lost the first two Test matches played in Perth and Brisbane by 8 wickets each. Both these matches ended in less than three days. The third Test match of the series was played in Adelaide. In this, England gave Australia a tough fight. However, despite this, Ben Stokes' team had to face a defeat of 82 runs on the last day.

Rohit also failed in Tests in Australia

Rohit Sharma played his last Test match against Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground from December 26 to 30, 2024. After failing on that tour, Rohit retired from Test cricket. He has played a total of 10 Test matches in Australia, but has only managed to score 439 runs in 19 innings. However, Rohit's record in ODIs in Australia is impressive. He is the only Indian batsman to have scored more than 1000 ODI runs in Australia. Only Viv Richards and Desmond Haynes have scored more runs than him in ODIs in Australia. He is also the foreign batsman with the most ODI centuries scored in Australia.
