BCCI shares clips of Kohli, Rohit centuries after Vijay Hazare matches

New Delhi: The Vijay Hazare Trophy, India's premier domestic ODI tournament, has begun. 19 matches were played on the first day of the tournament. The most notable aspect was that two of Indian cricket's biggest superstars, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, took to the field. Virat scored 133 runs, while Rohit scored 155 runs. However, fans were unable to watch any of the matches live. This angered the fans, who criticized the BCCI.

Video of Rohit and Virat Released

After the matches concluded in the evening, the BCCI released videos of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli's innings. Rohit scored a century against Sikkim in just 62 balls. In the match played in Jaipur, he scored 155 runs off 94 balls. In his innings, the former Indian captain hit 18 fours and 9 sixes. Delhi's match was against Andhra. In this match, Virat played a crucial role in his team's victory, scoring 133 runs off 101 balls with 14 fours and 3 sixes.

Fans' Anger Erupts After Watching the Videos

Indian cricket fans were furious after watching the videos released by the BCCI. The videos of Virat and Rohit's innings shared by the BCCI were of very poor quality. This led to the BCCI being trolled. The BCCI is the richest cricket board in the world, yet they uploaded such poor-quality videos, which did not go down well with the fans.

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are in the twilight of their careers. Both have retired from Test and T20 International cricket. Questions were also being raised about their careers in ODIs. Virat failed to score in the first two matches of the Australia tour in October. But since then, he has scored three centuries and two half-centuries in the five matches he has played. Similarly, Rohit has also scored two centuries and three half-centuries in the seven matches he has played since the Australia tour.
