When the CEO of a company in Bengaluru traveled in public transport i.e. bus, he was shocked to know the fare. Actually, the CEO had to go to the office, so he took a bus for a journey of 1 kilometer, and the fare for this journey was only 6 rupees. He has shared this experience of his on social media, which has become a topic of discussion.


In today's era, can one travel anywhere for just 6 rupees? This was a shocking experience for a CEO living in Bengaluru. Actually, when Deepak Shenoy, founder and CEO of Capitalmind, decided to go to office by bus due to pain in his knee, he was shocked to know the fare. Only 6 rupees!


Yes, Deepak shared the experience of traveling in the bus on microblogging site X and wrote - Today I took a bus for 6 rupees and walked for 30 minutes to reach the office. I am still wondering how some things can be so cheap! Not only this, he also told that the bus had a UPI QR scanner, which made it easy to make digital payments.


Was it the first time the CEO sat on a bus?


He later made another post to clarify that he usually travels by air-conditioned bus and metro, but this time his knee was not well, so he took a bus for a short journey of 1 km. However, he did not expect the fare to be so cheap!


He further wrote - I keep using public transport, but the fare of A/C bus and metro is high. This time I took the bus because I was not able to walk. But it was good to know that such a cheap journey is also possible!

Delhi Metro is a great example in this case - safety, timely service and affordable fare! Another user said - You drew attention towards public transport, this is important. Cheap and better public transport can prove to be a game-changer for the poor and middle class! Another user wrote - In today's time, nothing is available for 6 rupees, this was a very economical journey!
