    Bhopal Love Jihad: Farhan Shot While Trying to Flee, Accused of Raping & Blackmailing Hindu Girls

    Bhopal Love Jihad: Farhan Shot While Trying to Flee, Accused of Raping & Blackmailing Hindu Girls

    Bhopal Love Jihad Case Encounter: In Madhya Pradesh's capital Bhopal, police did a short encounter of the accused of blackmailing TIT college students after allegedly 'drugs-sex-deception' and 'love-jihad'. Farhan, the main accused of love-jihad, was shot in the leg. It is being told that he was trying to escape during medical checkup, due to which he attacked the police.


    According to the information received from Ashoka Garden police station, the police had gone out to search for other accused with accused Farhan. During that time, Farhan snatched the pistol of the sub-inspector and then there was a scuffle with the policemen, in which the firing took place. Farhan was shot in the leg. After the accused got injured, he was admitted to Hamidia Hospital.


    Reaction of BJP MLA


    BJP MLA Rameshwar Sharma gave information about the encounter between love jihad accused Farhan and Bhopal police on his social media account. He wrote on the x, "Short encounter of a jihadi."


    Accused Farhan was trying to escape on the pretext of going to the bathroom


    DCP Priyanka Shukla informed that accused Farhan had stayed in Bilkis Ganj with another accused Abrar. Ashoka Garden police team had left for Bilkis Ganj with Farhan. During this, Farhan stopped the police vehicle on the pretext of going to the bathroom. Farhan tried to snatch the pistol from the staff who got down with him. In this scuffle, SI's pistol fired, due to which Farhan got shot in the leg. He is immediately being brought to Hamidia Hospital and is being treated. Further action is underway in the case.


    At the same time, Ashoka Garden police station SHO Hemant Srivastava informed that this cannot be called a short encounter. The police team was taking Farhan along in search of Abrar. On the way, he stopped the car on the pretext of going to the toilet and tried to escape by snatching the SI's pistol. During this, a bullet was fired from the SI's pistol.


    What is the Bhopal Love Jihad case?


    Farhan is accused of targeting the girl students studying in a private college in Bhopal, raping them and then blackmailing them. This case came to light on April 18, when a victim filed a complaint in the Baghsewania police station. When the police registered a case and started investigation, the preliminary investigation revealed that Farhan was running a gang along with his associates, who used to trap Hindu girls in love traps and physically exploit them. These accused named Farhan and Abrar used to blackmail the girls by making objectionable videos of them and were pressuring them to convert their religion.
