Bijapur Encounter: 31 Naxalites Killed in 12-Hour Gunfight, Major Blow to Red Terror!

Bijapur: The soldiers have killed 31 Naxalites on the Maharashtra border in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh. Two soldiers were martyred and two soldiers were also injured. MI-17 helicopter has been dispatched from Jagdalpur to evacuate the injured soldiers. Security forces in Chhattisgarh are continuously running big operations against Naxalites. Let's know what is the big reason for this biggest operation this year in Bijapur and surrounding areas...

    'Red Terror' towards its end

A big operation took place in Bijapur district on Sunday before the Panchayat elections in the state. There was an encounter between the police and the Naxalites in the National Park area. According to sources, in this encounter, the soldiers killed 15 big leaders of the Naxalite cadre. At present, the area is being searched.

This is the first step towards the end of Naxalites.

According to intelligence security agency sources, the reason for the continuous encounter between the police and Naxalites in Chhattisgarh is clear. From the center to the state government, everyone has resolved to eliminate the Naxalites. In such a situation, new camps of security forces are being set up. This is the reason why this year's biggest operations have taken place in Bijapur and surrounding areas. The Red Terror has come under fear due to the opening of the camps of the security forces.

    Home Minister Amit Shah's goal

At the same time, Home Minister Amit Shah's vision is to make India Naxal-free by March 2026. In this episode, the elimination of 31 Naxalites in Bijapur is a huge success for the security personnel present in Chhattisgarh. Apart from this, an intensive campaign against Naxalites is already going on in the South Bastar region, which is near Sukma. Naxalites are leaving from there and joining the people of the West Bastar Area Committee.

    This is the recent operation.

Under this strategy, a group of 50 cadres of Naxalites gathered near the National Park in Bijapur. The soldiers of Chhattisgarh Police and Drug Police got a clue of this. Immediately this group of Naxalites gathered near West Bastar Area Committee was surrounded. This big operation against Naxalites continued in Bijapur for about 12 hours. Naxalites also had a large amount of ammunition. Important cadres of Naxalites started getting killed one by one and within 12 hours 31 Naxalites were killed, but in this sequence, two soldiers of the Chhattisgarh Police of our country also got martyred.

    Nearly 100 Naxalites eliminated

According to security intelligence agency sources, these killed Naxalites include many Naxalites with a reward of Rs 5 lakh and Naxalites with a reward of Rs 8 lakh. A total of 86 Naxalites have been killed in Chhattisgarh this year, this is a great success for the security forces in the operation against Naxalites.

The anti-Naxall campaign got a big edge.

After this big operation in Bijapur, the anti-Naxal campaign in Chhattisgarh has got a big edge, which is moving safely towards its goal of eliminating Naxalism from India by March 2026.

    Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai posted

In a post on the social media platform X, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai wrote, 'Security forces had an encounter with Naxalites in the National Park area of Bijapur district. Sad news has also been received of 2 soldiers martyred and 2 injured in the encounter. The sacrifice of the soldiers will not go in vain. Under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, our state will be Naxal-free by March 2026. In this direction, the security forces are continuously achieving success and moving rapidly towards their goals. The end of Naxalism, which is like cancer in the country and state, is certain. I pray to God for the peace of the souls of the martyred soldiers for providing strength to their families and for the speedy recovery of the injured soldiers.
