China-Pakistan Spreading Fake News to Defame Rafale Jets, Says French Source

New Delhi: French sources have revealed that a conspiracy is going on to defame Rafale fighter jets. People from China and Pakistan are involved in this conspiracy. They want to tarnish the image of Rafale fighter jets by spreading false news and videos. According to sources, ever since India has used Rafale aircraft to attack terrorist bases in Pakistan, rumors are being spread that this fighter jet is not working as expected.

    China-Pakistan spreading lies against Rafale

French sources say that the purpose of this campaign is to damage the reputation of Rafale. They want to promote other aircraft like J-10 and defame India-France friendship. French sources said that misinformation is being spread from Pakistan. It is being shared a lot on Chinese social media. This includes TikTok videos, social media posts and incorrect technical analysis.

    French sources revealed

In one example, Chinese social media and media tried to show that Indonesia was reconsidering its plan to buy Rafale jets from France after India's operation. But this claim proved to be false. France and Indonesia signed an agreement to buy additional Rafale jets to further increase the order placed in 2022.

3 Rafales were damaged in Operation Sindoor? This claim is false

In this fake news campaign, it is also being claimed that three Rafale planes were shot down during Operation Sindoor. An attempt is also being made to show that the Rafale jets stopped working after the first attack on Pakistani terrorist camps. Indian government sources said that both these claims are false. He said that several fighter jets, including Rafale, were used in the attacks on May 7. All the selected targets were successfully hit, including the terrorist headquarters located in Muridke and Bahawalpur.

    Rafale targeted Pakistani airbase

Sources further said that Rafale jets were also used in the attacks on Pakistani airbases on the night of May 9-10. It destroyed many important targets located deep across the border. Regarding the Indian losses in the attacks on May 7, sources cited the statement of the Chief of Defense Staff (CDS). The CDS had said that tactical mistakes were made, but Pakistan was again attacked strongly by learning from them.

Why are China-Pakistan spreading propaganda against Rafale

The misinformation that started from China also reached the social media platforms of Western countries. On May 7, it was claimed on a Chinese blogging platform that France has asked India to stop using Rafale. This false claim was also shared widely on Western platforms like X. Simply put, some people are trying to defame the Rafale aircraft. They are spreading false news and using social media. The truth is that Rafale is an excellent fighter jet and the Indian Army is using it successfully.
