Paris: China is constantly spreading propaganda about the Rafale fighter jet. China is trying to defame Rafale to sell its J-10C fighter aircraft. With this aim, Chinese media outlet Phoenix TV had asked questions to the French Armed Forces about the Rafale fighter jet during the India-Pakistan conflict. But the French Air Force shattered the intentions of the Chinese. Responding to a question from Phoenix TV, which operates from Hong Kong, French Air Force spokesman Colonel Vernet said that "the specific circumstances of the incident are still shrouded in mystery and not much information can be confirmed." Ever since Operation Sindoor began, Chinese media has been continuously spreading propaganda against India. Hundreds of fake claims have been made in China, which India has repeatedly denied.
Let us tell you that during "Operation Sindoor", the Indian Air Force had dealt a severe blow to Pakistan's military capabilities and destroyed 9 bases of terrorist organizations located in Pakistan as well as PoK. During this time, Chinese radars and defense systems proved to be a complete failure in stopping Indian missiles. During the operation, India's French-origin state-of-the-art Rafale fighter jet also participated and showed with its power how invincible India's air power has now become.
China's attempt to spread propaganda on Rafale
In response to a question from Phoenix TV, a French Air Force spokesperson said that "Obviously we are getting as much feedback as possible on the use of this high-intensity fighter aircraft, which, according to some reports, clearly involved several hundred aircraft. So we are obviously following these events as closely as possible. But the main thing we can see today is that Rafale has been in service for 20 years and has been in combat use for 20 years, and if it is true that there has been a loss, it will be the first combat loss of this fighter aircraft". This is the first time the French military has said anything about the Rafale jet. The purpose of the Chinese media in asking this question was to spread its propaganda.
However, in response to a reporter's question regarding the alleged loss of Rafale fighter jets during Operation Sindoor, a senior IAF official said during a briefing on May 9 that "losses are a part of aerial combat and all IAF pilots returned safely." Let us tell you that Rafale is a 4.5 generation multirole fighter aircraft capable of air superiority, deep strike, electronic warfare and intelligence missions. India bought 36 Rafale aircraft from France in 2016, all of which have been delivered to India by 2022.
