    GT vs LSG: Mitchell Marsh Smashes 56-Ball Century, Wreaks Havoc in Ahmedabad

    New Delhi: In the 64th match of IPL 2025, Mitchell Marsh created a sensation by scoring a stormy century against Gujarat. Lucknow opener Mitchell Marsh completed his century in 56 balls. In his century innings, he also hit 10 fours and 6 sixes. This is also Mitchell Marsh's first century in IPL. Mitchell Marsh came out to open the innings with Aiden Markram against Gujarat. During this, he completed his half-century in 32 balls. After the half-century, Marsh faced only 24 balls to reach the century.


    During this, he also thrashed the fierce T20 bowler Rashid Khan. Mitchell hit boundaries on five consecutive balls against Rashid Khan who bowled the 12th over of the innings for Gujarat. Marsh scored a total of 25 runs in his over, which included three fours, two sixes and a single. Hardly any batsman had played such a dashing innings against Rashid Khan before.


    Marsh had opened the innings for Lucknow


    Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill decided to bowl first after winning the toss against Lucknow Supergiants. However, this decision of Shubman Gill proved costly for him. Aiden Markram and Mitchell Marsh, who came to open the innings for Lucknow, gave a great start to the team. However, Markram was dismissed after scoring 36 runs in 24 balls. In this way, Markram along with Mitchell Marsh made a great partnership of 91 runs for the first wicket.


    After completing the century, Mitchell Marsh's innings for Lucknow ended at 117 runs. Mitchell Marsh faced 64 balls in his innings, which included 10 fours and 8 sixes. Mitchell Marsh was caught out by Rutherford on the ball of Arshad Khan. On the basis of this strong innings of Mitchell Marsh, the Lucknow team scored 235 runs at the loss of 2 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.
