Hardik Pandya rewards Wankhede ground staff ahead of IPL 2026

New Delhi: Hardik Pandya has once again proven that he is not merely a match-winner on the field, but also a man with a big heart off it. The Mumbai Indians captain has presented a reward to the ground staff at Wankhede Stadium—the very individuals who toiled alongside him late into the night during his preparations for the T20 World Cup.

    Honoring Wankhede’s Unsung Heroes

During his preparations for the 2026 T20 World Cup, Hardik Pandya would often be seen sweating it out at Wankhede Stadium until midnight. At that time, he made a promise to the local ground staff that he would ensure their hard work did not go unrewarded. On Thursday, staying true to his word, Hardik presented rewards to the MCA ground staff. This touching moment served as a recognition of the contributions made by those who work behind the scenes to help cricketers become champions.

Hardik Aims for 10 ICC Titles in the Next 10 Years

Two-time World Champion Hardik Pandya’s confidence is currently sky-high. While discussing his future aspirations, he made a major announcement. Hardik stated, "I still have 10 years of cricket left in me, and my goal is to win 10 more ICC titles over the next decade." This statement reflects his unwavering spirit and his deep commitment to Indian cricket.

    Mahika: His "Lady Luck"

Speaking about his personal life, Hardik appeared visibly emotional. He described his girlfriend, Mahika, as the greatest inspiration in his life. Hardik remarked, "Ever since Mahika entered my life, it has been nothing but victory after victory." It is noteworthy that, in recent times, Hardik has made a spectacular comeback on the field while overcoming his personal challenges. Over the last three years, Hardik has won three ICC tournaments.
