IND vs ENG 3rd T20: Varun Chakravarthy created history

Varun Chakravarthy record: The brilliant bowler of the Indian cricket team has once again spread magic with his wrists. Varun took 5 wickets in the match played against England and made a big record in his name. He was also awarded the Player of the Match award.

Varun Chakravarthy record: Continuing his excellent form, the mysterious spinner of the Indian team, Varun Chakravarthy created history by taking 5 wickets in the third T20 match played against England in Rajkot on Tuesday, 28 January. This is his second 5-wicket haul in T20 International. With this, he became the third Indian bowler to do such a feat after Kuldeep Yadav and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Varun wreaks havoc on English batsmen in Rajkot.

Varun sent England's key batsmen Jos Buttler, Jamie Smith, Jamie Overton, Brydon Cars, and Jofra Archer to the pavilion. Due to his lethal bowling, the England team came on the back foot. With his bowling, Varun did not give any chance to the English batsmen to play freely during the match.

This is how England's wickets fell.

Varun took over the bowling after the powerplay when Ben Duckett was attacking the Indian bowlers. He dismissed Buttler with a brilliant ball, in which Sanju Samson's review also played an important role. After this, Varun dismissed Jamie Smith after hitting a six. He raised hopes of a hat trick by clean-bowling Jamie Overton on the very next ball.

Varun got Carse caught in the deep in his last over and completed his 5-wicket haul by getting Jofra Archer caught with his mystery delivery. He took 5 wickets for 24 runs in 4 overs.

    Record performance in the series

Varun Chakravarthy also set a new record by performing brilliantly in this series. He became the first Indian bowler to take 10 wickets in a bilateral T20 series between India and England. Varun took 3 wickets in the first T20 and 2 wickets in the second match, played in Chennai. His performance has proved to be a big strength for the Indian team.

    New star in India's bowling

Varun Chakravarthy has once again proved how important a player he is for the Indian team. His mysterious bowling not only troubles the batsmen but also gives success to the team at important moments.
