IND vs ENG: Abhishek Sharma's explosive century falls just short of Rohit's record, earns Tendulkar's praise!

New Delhi. The Indian team has landed in Mumbai to play the last T20 match against England. Jos Buttler won the toss and decided to bowl first. When the Indian team came out to bat, Abhishek Sharma showed his dangerous form. He first completed his fifty in 17 balls and then completed his century in 37 balls. However, he missed breaking Rohit Sharma's record.

Abhishek Sharma came out to open in this match. He came with Sanju Samson. Samson, however, was dismissed after scoring 16 runs in 7 balls. Abhishek Sharma scored a century in 37 balls in the innings. He was out after scoring 135 runs. In his innings, Sharma hit 13 sixes and 7 fours. Abhishek's strike rate during this period was 250. Abhishek initially thrashed the bowlers in the third, fourth and fifth overs.

Abhishek could not break Rohit Sharma's record

Abhishek Sharma scored a century in 37 balls in the match. In this way, he could not break Rohit Sharma's record. Rohit Sharma has scored the fastest century in T20 for India in 35 balls. Apart from this, no player from India has scored such a fast century in T20 International. If Abhishek Sharma had completed his century in less than 35 balls, he would have become the Indian batsman to score the fastest century in T20 International.
