India Gave a Befitting Reply to Pakistan’s Audacity: 10 Big Updates of Last 12 Hours of the War

New Delhi: After the Pahalgam attack, India's Operation Sindoor is going on against Pakistan in retaliation. Pakistan, panicked by this counterattack, tried to target the cities adjoining the border of Rajasthan including Jammu and Kashmir, Amritsar to save its face. On Thursday night, Pakistan tried to attack with drones and missiles in many different cities including Jammu and Kashmir, which was foiled by the Indian Army's air defense system S-400. Even a night before this, Pakistan had tried to attack military bases in 15 cities of India. But it was foiled by India's S-400 air defense system. Read 10 big updates from Thursday to Friday morning...

    1. 50 Pakistani drones shot down in Jammu, Udhampur, Samba, Akhnoor, Nagrota and Pathankot

The Indian Army carried out a major operation on LoC and IB on Thursday night. This operation was to shoot down drones. Sources said that the army shot down more than 50 Pakistani drones. Pakistan had tried to send many drones into the Indian border. After this, this operation was started. Pakistan was sending drones from different places. The Air Defense Unit of the Indian Army took immediate action. They targeted drones in areas like Udhampur, Samba, Jammu, Akhnoor, Nagrota and Pathankot.

    2. India's retaliatory action on Pakistan, America said - we are not going to interfere...

America has said that it will not interfere in the conflict between India and Pakistan. It can only try to reduce the tension between the two countries, it cannot ask them to surrender. Amidst tensions between India and Pakistan, US Vice President JD Vance has said that they basically have no business in the India-Pakistan conflict. US Vice President Vance said on Thursday that the US wants to see the tension between India and Pakistan reduce, but this is not America's job.

    3. Action against Pakistan, Saudi and Iranian ministers reached India

Saudi Arabia's Deputy Foreign Minister Adel Alijubeir and Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi reached Delhi on Thursday. Both of them met Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar and had a long discussion on the Pahalgam attack and India-Pakistan tension. When Saudi reprimanded Pakistan Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on the phone, Iran offered mediation. But India said clearly - until Pakistan stops promoting terrorism, there is no point in talking.

    4. Army Chief meets Prime Minister Modi amid tension with Pakistan

Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday evening amid ongoing tension with Pakistan. The Army Chief reached the Prime Minister's Office to meet PM Modi. It is believed that General Dwivedi apprised PM Modi about the latest developments. The Army Chief's meeting with Prime Minister Modi is considered very important, because late on Wednesday night, Pakistan had tried to target 15 military bases of India, which India foiled with its S-400 missile defense system. After this, India attacked Pakistan with Israeli made suicide HAROP drone, in which many defense systems of Pakistan were destroyed.

    5. Pakistan itself is responsible for the situation, India warned the neighboring country

India has warned Pakistan in a strict tone. India has said that our action was measured against terrorism. But if Pakistan attacks, it will have to bear the consequences. We are ready to respond to every attack. In the press briefing of the Ministry of External Affairs, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said in clear words that our action is not to increase tension. Only Pakistan is responsible for increasing tension. Misri said, the attack in Pahalgam on April 22 was the beginning of the tension. The Indian armed forces responded to it on May 7. Emphasizing the involvement of a terrorist group called The Resistance Front (TRF), he said, "This group is a mask of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba, which has been exposed many times before." Misri clarified that India's action was against terrorism, not to increase tension.

    6. Turkish President Erdogan gave a statement on the tension between India and Pakistan

Pakistan's friend Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has given a statement on the increasing conflict between India and Pakistan. In a post on X, the Turkish President said that we are worried that the tension between Pakistan and India will turn into a fierce conflict, resulting in missile attacks and many civilians will be killed. With this, Erdogan has once again shown sympathy for Pakistan. In the post, he wrote, 'I pray to God for mercy on our brothers who lost their lives in the attacks and once again express my condolences to the brotherly people and state of Pakistan.'

    8. India's Herop destroyed Pakistani HQ-9 air defense system

India has destroyed Pakistan's HQ-9 air defense system with a Herop drone. An alleged video of this attack is also being shared on social media. However, it could not be confirmed.

. India has bought the Herop drone from Israel, while Pakistan has bought the HQ-9 air defense system from China. In such a situation, Pakistan's land has now become a testing facility for foreign weapons. However, the HQ-9 air defense system is much more valuable than the Herop. In such a situation, this loss to Pakistan is being considered very big.

    9. Pulwama, Pathankot terror attack culprit killed in Bahawalpur attack

The presence of senior Pakistani army officials at the funeral of one of those killed in India's Operation Sindoor strike on the Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist camp in Bahawalpur gave rise to speculation that Abdul Rauf Asghar has been killed. Asghar is the younger brother of Jaish chief Masood Azhar and the mastermind of the IC 814 hijacking, Pathankot fidayeen attack and Pulwama attack. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri declined to comment on speculation about Rauf's death at an official government briefing on Thursday, but sources in security agencies said his attending the funeral was seen as a possible sign. 48-year-old Rauf was the most senior member of Jaish living in Markaz Subhan Allah in Bahawalpur.

    10. Army destroyed many Pakistani bunkers on LOC

Amidst Pakistan's audacity, our army has destroyed many Pakistani bunkers on LOC. India has completely foiled Pakistan's drone attack on Thursday night. According to sources, the Indian Army has destroyed 50 drones of Pakistan. In Samba, Jammu and Kashmir, the BSF has killed many infiltrators trying to infiltrate. This is a major success amid the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan. A big statement of the Indian Army has come out on the drone attacks carried out by Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Rajasthan. The Indian Army said that all attacks by Pakistan have been foiled.
