New Delhi: Tension remains between India and Pakistan after the Pahalgam attack. Meanwhile, India is continuously testing its weapons and missiles. On Monday, India has achieved another important achievement in the defense sector. The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) and the Indian Navy successfully conducted a combat test (with less explosives) of the Multi-Influence Ground Mine (MIGM) missile developed with indigenous technology. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has congratulated DRDO, Indian Navy and related industries on this achievement.

This test of the MIGM missile is a big step towards further strengthening India's self-reliant defense system. This missile is based on state-of-the-art indigenous technology, which will play an important role in enhancing the strategic capabilities of the Indian Navy. During the test, the missile proved its accuracy and effectiveness, making it clear that India is touching new heights in defense technology.

    Defense Minister congratulated

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said in his congratulatory message, "The successful test of the MIGM missile is a symbol of India's growing strength in defense research and indigenous technology. The joint efforts of DRDO, Indian Navy and industries have made this important achievement possible. This is another step towards 'Atmanirbhar Bharat'."

India is preparing to respondAfter the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April 2025, India tested several weapons to further strengthen its military preparedness. Apart from the MIGM missile, the Indian Navy successfully practiced the firing of several anti-ship missiles in the Arabian Sea, aimed at testing the readiness of platforms and crews for precision strikes at sea. Also, INS Surat successfully test fired a medium-range surface-to-air missile (MR-SAM), which is part of the Project 15B guided missile destroyer equipped with indigenous technology. These tests demonstrate India's maritime and strategic power, ready to respond to regional challenges
