IPL 2025 suspended: The India-Pakistan war has also affected the IPL. BCCI has suspended IPL 2025. BCCI has cited security reasons behind this decision. The signs of IPL being suspended were found in Dharamsala itself. When the match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals was canceled. Only after that it was understood that BCCI would definitely take a big decision on IPL matches. Today when the BCCI meeting was held, the result was the same. IPL has been canceled indefinitely. Now the question is what will happen next, what options does BCCI have?


If sources are to be believed, to stand with the country in the current situation, BCCI has decided to stop IPL 2025 with immediate effect. IPL matches have been shifted from India to other places earlier also. India had organized IPL in UAE during Corona. IPL has been shifted once due to Lok Sabha elections also. In such a situation, now the question is whether the remaining matches will be played in any other country? BCCI has not yet given an update regarding the remaining matches, but there are some options which can be considered. Like-


  • IPL 2025 can be shifted to UAE or African countries.


  • We can wait for the India-Pakistan tension to subside.


  • IPL match can be held at the end of the year.


Suspend script written in Dharamsala?


Yes, IPL will be suspended, a glimpse of this was seen in Dharamsala on Thursday. The match going on between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals had to be stopped after 10.1 overs due to air and drone attacks by Pakistan. Due to the attacks, a blackout had to be imposed in Jammu, Pathankot and Udhampur. All these three areas are near Dharamshala. After this, uncertainty regarding the tournament had increased.


Complaint received by BCCI


It is said that after the cancellation of the Dharamshala match, many Australian players involved in the league had expressed concern about their safety. The BCCI arranged a special train to transport the teams of Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals, match officials, commentators, broadcast staff and other important people to a safe place.


War between India and Pakistan


There is a war-like situation between India and Pakistan right now. Pakistan is attacking with drones and weapons. India is giving a befitting reply to it. After 26 people lost their lives in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, India carried out Operation Sindoor. Under this, 9 major terrorist bases were destroyed in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). In response to this, Pakistan tried to target some military bases in northern and western India on 7-8 May, to which the Indian Army gave a proper and effective response.
