    IRCTC Jyotirlinga Tour Package: Travel to South India by Train, Visit Sacred Temples – Check Full Details

    Patna: If you are planning to go on a South India tour, then this news is especially for you. Now you can visit the famous Jyotirlingas and scenic places of South India including Tirupati, Rameswaram, Kanyakumari and many other religious places in a cheap and luxurious way. For this, IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation) has launched the Bharat Gaurav Tourism Train.


    🚆 Train Starting Date and Departure Points

    👉 Rajesh Kumar, Joint General Manager of IRCTC's regional office Patna, informed that the Bharat Gaurav Tourism Train will start its journey from Bettiah on March 27, 2025 and will travel through several stations including Pataliputra.

    👉 There are 200 seats vacant in the train and booking is happening fast. Interested passengers can book their seats either online or offline.


    ✅ Boarding Stations for Passengers

    Passengers can board the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train from the following stations:

    • Bettiah
    • Sagauli
    • Raxaul
    • Bairgania
    • Sitamarhi
    • Darbhanga
    • Samastipur
    • Muzaffarpur
    • Hajipur
    • Pataliputra
    • Ara
    • Buxar
    • Dildarnagar
    • Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction


    🛕 Places to Visit in South India During This Tour

    During this 12-day and 11-night journey, passengers will get a chance to visit the following famous religious and tourist places:

    1. Tirupati - Shri Balaji Darshan
    2. Rameswaram - Shri Ramanathaswamy Temple
    3. Madurai - Meenakshi Amman Temple
    4. Kanyakumari - Kanyakumari Temple and Vivekananda Rock Memorial
    5. Srisailam - Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga

    The train will return on April 07, 2025 after covering all these destinations.

    The tour offers two types of packages:

    Package Type Travel Class Fee Per Passenger Facilities Economy Sleeper Class Rs 22,520 Non-AC room stay, Non-AC bus travel, multi-sharing basis accommodation. Comfort 3rd AC Class Rs 38,310 AC room stay, AC bus travel, multi-sharing basis accommodation.

    👉 Travel Facility: Passengers traveling in Economy Class will be accommodated in sleeper class coaches, while Comfort Class passengers will travel in 3rd AC coaches.

    • Economy Package: Night stay in Non-AC rooms (multi-sharing basis).
    • Comfort Package: Night stay in AC rooms (multi-sharing basis).
    • 👉 Food: Morning tea, breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided daily.
    • 👉 Daily Water Supply: Every passenger will get one water bottle per day.
    • 👉 Local Transport: For sightseeing, passengers will get a non-AC bus in Economy Package and an AC bus in Comfort Package.
