    Jalgaon Shocker: Retired CRPF Officer Shoots Daughter Dead, Injures Son-in-Law at Wedding Ceremony

    Jalgaon Crime News: A retired Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) officer in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra allegedly shot his daughter dead, while seriously injuring his son-in-law. Jalgaon police officer said that the incident took place on Saturday night during a wedding ceremony in Chopra tehsil.


    Jalgaon: A heart-wrenching incident took place in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra. A retired Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) officer shot his own daughter dead. While seriously injuring his son-in-law. Jalgaon police officer said that the incident took place on Saturday night during a wedding ceremony in Chopra tehsil. Told that two years ago the daughter had married for love. He was angry with this. Due to this, he fired on both the daughter and the husband. The daughter died in this. The injured son-in-law has been admitted to the hospital. At the same time, the accused was also injured in the mob attack. Police reached the spot and started investigation. This incident has created a stir in the area.


    What is the matter?


    Police said that the name of the girl who died was Tripti (24). Tripti had married Avinash (28), a resident of Pune, two years ago. The accused father-in-law Kiran Mangale (48, resident of Shirpur) did not like this marriage. Meanwhile, Avinash's sister's haldi ceremony was on the 26th in Ambedkar Nagar near Khaiwada in Chopra city. He had come to Chopra for that occasion. Retired CRPF officer Kiran Arjun Mangale attended it. He was angry that Tripti had married for love. After the haldi ceremony was over, Kiran and Tripti came face to face.


    Fired bullet on daughter-son-in-law


    It is said that as soon as father Kiran Mangale saw Tripti, he fired a bullet from his revolver. Avinash, who went to save her, also got seriously injured by the bullet. Due to Avinash's critical condition, he has been referred to Jalgaon. On the other hand, after the firing, the people around caught Mangale and beat him up.


    Police registered a case

    On receiving the information, District Superintendent of Police Maheshwar Rehi Chopra went to the spot at around 11 pm on Saturday night and inquired about the incident. He said that the accused Mangale has been admitted to the hospital. A case of murder has been registered against Mangale. However, it is not yet known why he attacked his daughter and son-in-law. The investigation of the case is going on.
