Mahika Sharma responds to trolls amid Hardik Pandya flag row

New Delhi: Following the victory in the 2026 T20 World Cup, the celebrations involving Hardik Pandya and his girlfriend, Mahika Sharma, have become a hot topic of discussion on social media. Amidst the uproar surrounding their on-field PDA (Public Display of Affection) and the alleged insult to the Tricolor, Mahika Sharma has now responded to the trolls in her own signature style.

Mahika Holds Up a Mirror to the Trolls

Some individuals had raised objections to videos showing Hardik and Mahika kissing and dancing after their victory over New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. On Friday, March 13, Mahika responded to this criticism by sharing a meme on her Instagram Story. The meme read: "Go on—try to bring as much luck into your life as Mahika has in hers." While sharing this, Mahika simply captioned it "Never Settle," signaling that she remains unfazed by these controversies and encouraging other women to recognize their own worth.

The Case of Disrespect to the Tricolor

While the debate continues to rage on social media, Hardik Pandya appears to be finding himself in legal trouble on another front. Pune-based lawyer Wajid Khan has filed a complaint against him at the Shivaji Nagar Police Station. The lawyer alleges that Hardik was so intoxicated by the euphoria of victory that he draped himself in the Tricolor and posed for photographs lying on the ground with his girlfriend—an act that constitutes disrespect toward the National Flag under Section 2 of the National Flag Act, 1971.

    Who is Mahika Sharma?

Mahika Sharma is a well-known model who celebrated her 25th birthday just this year, on February 19. Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya will turn 33 this October, meaning there is an eight-year age gap between the two. Prior to Mahika, Hardik was linked to "Bom Diggy" fame singer Jasmin Walia, who was frequently spotted during his matches; however, they never officially acknowledged their relationship.
