Mohan Bhagwat: Enemies Can’t Defeat India Directly, So They Bleed It Slowly

New Delhi: In Nagpur, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Thursday appealed to the countrymen to remain united. He said that India will have to become self-reliant to deal with external and internal threats. Bhagwat said that the mutual understanding seen in the political class after the Pahalgam terror attack and the subsequent action taken by India should continue and become a permanent feature. Without naming Pakistan, Bhagwat said, "Those who cannot win a direct fight with India, want to bleed our country by waging a policy of giving a thousand wounds and proxy war." Addressing the closing ceremony of the 'Karyakarta Vikas Varg' organized for RSS volunteers, Bhagwat said, "The society also gave a message of unity." He also spoke on issues like modern warfare, terrorism, internal strife and religious conversion. He described the two-nation theory and differences in society as challenges for the country. Bhagwat stressed the growing importance of cyber warfare and proxy wars and the need for India to develop its capabilities. 'India does not consider anyone its enemy, but...' He said that India does not consider anyone its enemy, but it should be prepared, self-reliance is the only way forward. Bhagwat described the real strength of the country as the spirit and resilience of the people. He spoke about the grief and unity of the country after the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam.

'The real strength of the country is in the people'

Bhagwat said that the real strength of the country is not in the army or the administration. The real strength of the country is in the people. The spirit of the people and their resilience make the country strong. There was an atmosphere of grief in the country after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. But people showed unity and acted swiftly. This shows how strong the people of India are. Bhagwat told the citizens not to get caught in provocation. Some people try to create divisions in the society. We should be cautious of them. Bhagwat said that violence is not the solution to any problem. No part of the society should be against the other. We should live in peace and harmony.
