Nitish Rana’s Power Show! Almost a Century Against CSK—Ashwin’s Magic Stopped Him!

Guwahati: In the 11th match of the Indian Premier League 2025, Nitish Rana created a stir in batting for Rajasthan Royals against Chennai Super Kings. Nitish Rana played a strong innings of 81 runs in just 36 balls with the help of 10 fours and 5 sixes at a strike rate of 225. Nitish Rana was moving fast towards his century, but Ravichandran Ashwin showed his agility and got him stumped by Dhoni on a wide ball.

However, before getting out, Nitish Rana had hit three back to back boundaries against Ashwin. As long as Nitish Rana was standing at the crease, he did not let the run rate stop. Nitish completed his fifty in just 21 balls during this time. Along with completing his fifty, Nitish also celebrated in a different style. He dedicated his fifty to his wife and newborn child.

Nitish Rana has a special relationship with Govinda

Nitish Rana, who created a sensation with his stormy batting against CSK, also has a special relationship with Bollywood actor Govinda. Actually, Nitish is Govinda's son-in-law. Let us tell you that Nitish Rana married Sachi Marwah in 2019. Sachi is Govinda's niece. For this reason, Nitish Rana's name is often linked to Govinda. Actually, once comedian and actor Krishna Abhishek told in a show that Sachi is his cousin.

Talking about Nitish Rana, he is playing for Rajasthan Royals for the first time in the Indian Premier League. Earlier he was a part of the Kolkata Knight Riders team. However, the KKR team did not retain him in the 18th season of IPL. Nitish Rana also captained KKR in IPL 2023.
