New Delhi: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, referring to Operation Sindoor, said that this time Pakistan did not have to face the fire power of the Indian Navy, but the world knows that if Pakistan does any nefarious act this time, it is possible that this time the opening may be at the hands of our Navy. Addressing Navy officers and personnel in the indigenous aircraft carrier INS Vikrant, the Defence Minister said that it would be in Pakistan's favor to uproot the nursery of terrorism running on its land with its own hands. It should start by handing over terrorists like Hafiz Saeed and Masood Azhar to India.
Both of them are not only in the list of 'Most Wanted Terrorists' in India but they are also in the list of designated terrorists of the UN. Rajnath Singh said that Hafiz Saeed is the culprit of Mumbai attacks. Justice should be done for the crime committed by his organization of raining death in Mumbai through the sea route. This cannot happen in Pakistan. Tahawwur Rana, an accused in the Mumbai attacks, has been brought to India recently. Pakistan is repeatedly offering talks.
He said that just yesterday the Prime Minister of Pakistan has reiterated this point again but India has clearly said that if there will be talks, it will be on terrorism, on PoK. If Pakistan is serious about talks, then it should hand over terrorists like Hafiz Saeed and Masood Azhar to India so that justice can be done. The Defense Minister said that during Operation Sindoor, the Indian Navy has impressed every Indian with its silent service. Despite remaining silent, the Indian Navy succeeded in keeping the Pakistani army tied down.
The Defence Minister said, just imagine what will happen when the person who can keep a country's army 'locked in a bottle' even by remaining silent speaks? He said that Pakistan needs to clearly understand that the dangerous game of terrorism that it has been playing since independence has now expired. Now whenever Pakistan will instigate any terrorist act against India, it will not only have to bear the consequences but like every time, it will also have to face defeat.
The Defence Minister said that this time Pakistan got scared due to the preparations of the Navy, it was restricted to the coasts, it could not even muster the courage to come into the open sea. The Defence Minister told the Navy that it should not leave any stone unturned in its preparations. The Defence Minister said that in 1971 when the Navy came into action, the number of Pakistan increased from 1 to 2. If the Navy had come into action during Operation Sindoor, then the number of Pakistan would have increased from 1 to 4.
