New Delhi:Ever since the Pahalgam terror attack, relations between India and Pakistan are deteriorating with each passing day. Its effect is also visible on the border. Pakistan, which is furious with India's action regarding the Pahalgam attack, is not stopping its activities on the border now. This is the reason why it has violated the ceasefire on the border for the 10th consecutive day. According to the information received, the Pakistani army has fired on the LoC from Poonch, Rajouri, Mendhar, Nowshera, Sundarbani Akhnoor of Jammu to Kupwara, Baramulla of Kashmir. India has given a befitting reply to this firing by Pakistan.
The continuous violation of ceasefire by Pakistan on the border shows its desperation. Let us tell you that Pakistan's history of attacking from behind is not new. The ceasefire between the two countries was renewed after 2001. Just before the Kargil war in 1999, the then PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee went to Pakistan with a message of friendship. But Pakistan stabbed India in the back and started the Kargil war. Even after this, India announced ceasefire in 2003 with a message of peace.
Now Pakistan opens fire every night from its posts, targeting Indian posts. It has been violating the ceasefire for the last 10 days. However, it is responding to the Indian Army in the language it understands.
This act of Pakistan shows that it has resorted to stealing first and now to showing off. It is doing many things where its role is not directly visible to anyone. It is also attacking India covertly. It is also spreading propaganda against India. Not only this, it is also spreading rumors about India. Pakistan is also using its media for this.
On one hand, Pakistan is violating the ceasefire on the border, while on the other hand it is deploying more of its army on the Indian border. It has already landed its fighter planes in PoK. Pakistan is continuously mobilizing its soldiers. Whereas India has not done anything like this yet. On the other hand, the leaders of India sitting in responsible positions are not making any provocative statements.
Pakistan has a long history of provocative firing on the Jammu and Kashmir border. The ceasefire was violated 2140 times by Pakistan in 2018, 3479 times in 2019 and 5133 times in 2020. After the Pahalgam attack, Pakistan has been violating the ceasefire for nine days. There is continuous firing from their side, to which the army is giving a befitting reply.
Pakistan has violated the ceasefire earlier too
So far in 2025, Pakistan has violated the ceasefire 15 times. Apart from this, seven terrorists have been killed in three infiltration attempts. In the last eight days, firing is being done with small arms from the posts in front of Kupwara, Baramulla, Poonch, Naushera and Akhnoor areas of Jammu and Kashmir. The Indian Army also responded to the firing on the 740 km long LOC.
