Pakistan Attack in Poonch: So far 15 innocent civilians have lost their lives, while 43 people have been seriously injured in the fierce shelling by the Pakistan Army in Poonch and Tangdhar sectors of Jammu and Kashmir since Tuesday night. According to defense sources, the Pakistan Army deliberately targeted residential areas along the border, causing panic in the villages and many houses were badly damaged.

Pakistan's conspiracy did not stop even after Operation Sindoor
In the recently conducted 'Operation Sindoor' by the Indian Army, 9 terrorist hideouts were destroyed in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoJK). Despite this, Pakistan again violated the ceasefire on Wednesday and targeted the general public. Windows of many houses hit by shelling broke and walls cracked. After the loss of life and property, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah called an emergency meeting to review the situation.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh praised the army
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said on Wednesday during the inauguration of 50 projects of the Border Roads Organization (BRO) that the Indian Army showed courage, vigilance and humanity during Operation Sindoor. “Our forces took decisive action against terror and ensured that there was no harm to civilians,” he said. He also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for standing with the army and said Operation Sindoor has created a new history.
Response to Pahalgam terror attack
Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said the attack in Pahalgam was extremely brutal, killing 26 people, most of them shot in the head at close range. The attack was aimed at disrupting the returning normalcy in Kashmir. “We had intelligence inputs that there could be more attacks on India. So we took this action to destroy the terror infrastructure,”
Attack on gurdwara, 3 Sikhs killed
Sri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara Sahib in Poonch was also attacked in Pakistani army shelling, killing three Sikh devotees - Bhai Amrik Singh (Raggi), Bhai Amarjit Singh and Bhai Ranjit Singh. SAD chief Sukhbir Singh Badal strongly condemned the attack and said, "This attack is against humanity. We pay tribute to the martyrs and demand the government to compensate the victim families." Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann also condemned the incident and said that targeting holy places like Gurudwara is reprehensible and it is a direct attack on common people.
