Islamabad: There has been a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. After this, Hamas is now going to do something no less than a big threat to India. According to reports, Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba are going to organize an event in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK), in which Hamas members will also be present. The chief terrorist of Jaish-e-Mohammed is Masood Azhar. The event venue will be Rawalkot, a launching pad for terrorists. Posters of Hamas leaders are put up here. JeM has become very weak after continuous military pressure in Jammu and Kashmir, due to which it now has to take help from Hamas to connect with the people. A meeting is being held on 5 February in the name of the 'Kashmir Solidarity and Al Aqsa Flood' Conference at Sabir Shaheed Stadium in PoK.
The presence of Hamas leaders in PoK is not good news for India. The question arises whether the time has come that India should also declare Hamas a terrorist organization. The Indian government has not yet considered Hamas a terrorist organization. India has been continuously supporting Palestine. Israel has repeatedly demanded from India that it should consider Hamas a terrorist organization. In the year 2023, Israel made a similar demand and declared Lashkar-e-Taiba, responsible for the 26/11 attack in India, a terrorist organization.
Hamas and Lashkar-e-Taiba had a meeting.
In August last year, a meeting was held between Hamas and Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Saifullah Khalid. India was on alert regarding the meeting with Hamas leader Khalid Meshaal in Doha, the capital of Qatar. Saifullah Khalid was designated a terrorist by the US Treasury Department in 2018. Regarding this meeting, it was said that he had met Meshaal to express his condolences on the killing of Hamas chief Ismail Haniya in Iran. Saifullah is close to Lashkar-e-Taiba founder Hafiz Saeed.
Ceasefire between Israel-Hamas
After a war that lasted about 15 months between Israel and Hamas, a ceasefire was signed in early January. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has arrived in the US amid the truce. This is the first visit of a foreign leader after Donald Trump became President. During this, Trump has given a very controversial statement in a joint press conference. Trump has vowed that America will 'occupy' the war-torn Gaza and America will have authority over it. We will destroy every bomb present there that has not exploded. This is being considered another expansionist statement of Trump. Trump has earlier talked about occupying the Panama Canal, Greenland as well as making Canada the 51st state of the country.
