PM Modi Urges Citizens to Join Operation Sindoor by Rejecting Foreign Goods

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called upon the people not to use foreign things and to promote goods made in the country. He said that we should avoid buying and selling foreign goods and be proud of Made in India. The Prime Minister, while holding a public meeting after the road show in Gandhinagar, the capital of Gujarat, said that Operation Sindoor was started by the military forces of the country but the responsibility of taking it forward lies with the 140 crore people of the country. Everyone's cooperation is necessary to build the country. He urged shopkeepers and businessmen to sell goods made in India.

Modi said, 'When I took charge in 2014, India was the 11th largest economy, today it is at the fourth position. When India overtook Britain, we were happy because Britain ruled us. Now the pressure is on when we will become the number three economy.' India has recently overtaken Japan to become the fourth largest economy in the world. Now the US, China and Germany are ahead of India.

Indus Water Treaty

The Prime Minister said that if we had killed the Mujahideen who entered Kashmir in 1947, we would not have to face such a situation today. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel wanted the army to take back Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in 1947. The Indus Water Treaty was negotiated very poorly, it did not even allow the removal of silt from the dams in Kashmir. We have suspended the Indus Water Treaty, started increasing the capacity of dams on our side. Pakistan is feeling troubled by this.
