Punjab Kings Crumble in IPL 2025 Qualifier, Benched Player Fails to Deliver

New Delhi: Punjab Kings' condition worsened against RCB in the first qualifier of IPL 2025. RCB captain Rajat Patidar decided to bowl first after winning the toss at the Mullanpur Cricket Stadium. Punjab Kings, who came out to bat first, lost their first wicket in the second over itself. After this, it seemed as if there was a flurry of wickets. Punjab Kings were under complete pressure amid the continuous fall of wickets against RCB.

During this, the team played such a move which made their work worse. Actually, Punjab Kings sent Mushir Khan to bat as an impact sub in this match, but he was out after playing just 3 balls. Musheer Khan could not even open his account in the innings for Punjab. This was the first IPL match for Musheer Khan. Musheer was sitting on the bench for the entire season before this. In such a situation, Musheer could not capitalize on the opportunity he got in the big match.

Half of Punjab's team out on the score of 50 runs

Punjab's batting was very poor in this match against RCB. In the first qualifier match, Punjab Kings' top order batting flopped badly. The team lost 5 wickets for a score of just 50 runs. Apart from Musheer Khan, the top-5 players in this match for Punjab were such who could not even open their account. This is the reason why Punjab Kings' condition became bad in front of RCB.

Let us tell you that whichever team wins the first qualifier match will make it directly to the final. At the same time, the losing team will get a second chance. The team that loses in Qualifier-1 will clash with the winner of the Eliminator in Qualifier 2.
