    Before IPL 2025, the Royal Challengers Bangalore team has given a tremendous surprise to its fans by making a big bang. Royal Challengers Bangalore has appointed dashing batsman Rajat Patidar as its captain. 31-year-old Rajat Patidar has been with Royal Challengers Bangalore since the year 2021. Before the mega auction of IPL 2025, Rajat Patidar was retained by Royal Challengers Bangalore for a huge amount of Rs 11 crore.

    Rajat Patidar captains Madhya Pradesh in the domestic circuit. Rajat Patidar has a lot of experience in captaincy. Recently, under his captaincy, Rajat Patidar led Madhya Pradesh to the final of the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy. Rajat Patidar wreaked havoc in the 2024 Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy tournament season. Rajat Patidar expressed his desire to become the captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in December 2024.
