New Delhi: Many big leaders and well-known personalities attended the centenary celebrations of RSS. Yoga guru Ramdev marked his presence in the ceremony. JD(U) leader KC Tyagi also attended the event. Bollywood actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut also appeared in the ceremony. Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and Anupriya Patel also attended the event.

The presence of all these dignitaries made the ceremony even more important. This centenary celebration of RSS was special in many ways. The three-day program on the theme '100 years of Sangh journey: New horizons' started here at Vigyan Bhavan. On the first day of the lecture series, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat highlighted his vision for India's future and the role of volunteers in shaping it. On the third day of the event, he will answer questions from the attendees.

As part of a massive public relations campaign, the RSS has planned to hold several events, including over one lakh 'Hindu Sammelans', across the country to mark its centenary year, beginning with Bhagwat's address at the organisation's headquarters in Nagpur on Vijayadashami day. Vijayadashami falls on October 2 this year.

The RSS also plans to hold nationwide door-to-door public relations programmes during its centenary year. Representatives from over 25 embassies, including those of China, Denmark, the US, Russia and Israel, were also present on the first day of the event. RSS joint general secretaries Arun Kumar and Krishna Gopal were also present at the event. Representatives of 'think tanks' such as 'ORF', 'Thinkers USA' and 'Infinity Foundation' were also present during this time.
