Shoaib Akhtar criticises PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi after India loss

New Delhi: India has once again humiliated Pakistan at an ICC event. Pakistan defeated Pakistan by 61 runs in the T20 World Cup 2026. Pakistan won the toss and invited India to bat. Batting first, India set the neighboring country a target of 176 runs. However, the entire Pakistani team was all out for 114 runs. After being humiliated by India, legendary Pakistani bowler Shoaib Akhtar has lashed out at Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi.

Shoaib Akhtar took Mohsin Naqvi to task

Speaking to ABP News, Shoaib Akhtar said, "Now there's a man who doesn't even know he's the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board. How will the team run now? You're saying that the person you've made a superstar can't win a single match. You've made someone a star who can't win a single match."

He continued, "Brother, when you make such people stars, when you elect them, you'll face this problem. But do you know what the biggest crime in the world is? The biggest crime in the world is giving a job to an incompetent person." Shoaib continued, "When you give a job to an incompetent and ignorant person, they destroy your country. They can bring down any organization. The examples are in front of you. You're smart enough to understand this."

Pakistan will now face Namibia.

After losing to India, Pakistan now sits third in the Group A points table with four points. Above them is the United States, with both teams having four points each. Pakistan's final group stage match is against Namibia. To qualify for the Super 8, Pakistan must defeat Namibia.
