Hyderabad: With Abhishek Sharma's destructive century innings, Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Punjab Kings by 8 wickets. This is the second win of Sunrisers Hyderabad team this season. In the match, Punjab Kings won the toss and batted first and scored 245 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. In response, Sunrisers easily won the match by scoring 247 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in 18.3 overs with Abhishek's century and Travis Head's fifty.

For the Sunrisers team chasing the target in the match, Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head together made a partnership of 171 runs for the first wicket. Against Punjab, both these batsmen made the match one-sided with their stormy batting. However, during this time Travis Head was out after scoring 66 runs in 37 balls, but Abhishek Sharma's storm continued.

Abhishek completed century in 40 balls

After Travis Head's wicket, Abhishek Sharma became more explosive. First of all, Abhishek completed his fifty in 19 balls. After this, he faced 21 balls to score the next 50 runs.
