SRH vs MI: Rohit’s Blazing Fifty, Bolt-Chahar Shine as Mumbai Crush Hyderabad to Enter Top-4

Hyderabad: IPL's 5-time champion Mumbai Indians has been showing such a game for many seasons, for which it is known. After losing the first two matches, the Mumbai team, which was at the last position in the points table, has now come to third place. By defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mumbai won their 5th and fourth consecutive win in IPL 2025. The team won by 7 wickets. On the easy wicket at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Hyderabad's team could only score 143 runs for 8 wickets. Mumbai won the match in the 16th over itself by losing three wickets. This is Hyderabad's sixth defeat in 8 matches.

    Klaasen and Manohar took over

Heinrich Klaasen's 71 off 44 balls and Abhinav Manohar's 43 runs helped Sunrisers Hyderabad reach this score. The team had a very bad start and 4 wickets fell in the powerplay itself. After this Klaasen took over the innings. He hit nine fours and two sixes in his innings. He shared a 99-run partnership with impact substitute Abhinav. Abhinav scored 43 runs in 37 balls with two fours and three sixes. Trent Boult took 4 wickets for 26 runs in 4 overs while Deepak Chahar took 2 wickets for 12 runs in 4 overs.

    5 wickets fell for 35

Sunrisers' top order batsmen completely disappointed. Ishan Kishan (one) decided to leave the field even though the ball did not touch his bat and go into the wicketkeeper's hand. Deepak Chahar's ball was going outside the leg side which the umpire declared wide but seeing Kishan going back, he raised his finger. Travis Head (0) got caught by Naman Dheer at third man off Trent Boult's ball. Abhishek Sharma (eight) started with a six but got caught by Vignesh Puthur off Boult's ball. Nitish Kumar Reddy got caught by Mitchell Santner at mid-on off Chahar's ball.

After five wickets fell for 35 runs within nine overs, Klaasen took charge. He hit two fours and a six off Puthur in the tenth over. After this, he hit three fours off Pandya. Klaasen did not get support from the other end. Abhinav wasted seven balls before playing a big shot. Klaasen was caught by Tilak Verma off Jasprit Bumrah while Abhinav was sent to the pavilion by Boult. This was Bumrah's 300th T20 wicket.
