Tricolour turban, bold words: Owaisi slams Pakistan, shocks even BJP with tone

Motihari: When AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi came on stage in Dhaka High School Ground in Bihar, wearing a tricolour turban on his head, the entire ground echoed with slogans. Wearing the tricolour, Owaisi declared jihad against terrorism from Dhaka. By the way, there was a big banner on Owaisi's stage on which was written 'Owaisi's jihad against terrorism'. Owaisi kept on firing verbal attacks on Pakistan from the stage. In the last few years, it has been a trend that BJP leaders mention Pakistan in their election rallies. But, in Motihari, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief Asaduddin Owaisi reacted strongly to the Pahalgam terror attack. He talked about giving a befitting reply to Pakistan. Owaisi demanded the government to take strict action in this matter. Assembly elections are to be held in Bihar at the end of this year.

Owaisi lashed out at Pakistan again

Asaduddin Owaisi said that now is not the time to explain to Pakistan. Now is the time to give it a befitting reply. He said that till when will we see our sisters and daughters becoming widows at the hands of Pakistani terrorists. There is anger against Pakistan in the whole country due to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. Owaisi has demanded the government to take strong and concrete action. Whoever is responsible for this attack should get strict punishment. He said that his party will give full support to the Government of India in this matter.

'How long will the country continue to tolerate all this?'

Referring to the Pahalgam attack, Owaisi said that Pakistani terrorists killed 26 innocent people. They shot people in front of their children and wives. Among them were some people who had got married just six days ago. He asked whether it is the 26/11 incident or any other terrorist attack, how long will the country tolerate all this? Owaisi said that there is an atmosphere of sorrow and pain in the country right now. At such a time, the country will never forgive those who are spreading hatred. He demanded to give martyr status to all those killed in the Pahalgam attack.

A befitting reply will have to be given - Owaisi

In his speech, Owaisi clearly said, 'Now is not the time to explain to Pakistan, but to give a befitting reply. Till when will we see our sisters and daughters becoming widows at the hands of Pakistani terrorists. The country will have to unite and fight terrorism. Those who spread hatred will have to be given a befitting reply.'

Is this why Owaisi has his eyes set on Dhaka?

Dhaka assembly seat of East Champaran is Muslim dominated. In the 2020 assembly elections, Pawan Jaiswal of BJP defeated Faisal Rahman of RJD by a margin of 10114 votes. By the way, Dhaka is known as the stronghold of NDA because the votes of the Muslim population are divided. In such a situation, if Owaisi can get some votes of Hindus here, then it can be a good opportunity for AIMIM. This is the reason why Owaisi announced the name of Rana Ranjit Singh as his candidate from Dhaka. Owaisi challenged and said that this time we will bring 24, our message will remain alive. In the 2020 assembly elections, Owaisi's party won 5 seats, out of which four MLAs were poached by RJD.
