    New Delhi: The ICC T20 World Cup 2026 begins on February 7th. Pakistan is scheduled to play all its matches in Sri Lanka. However, a video of the Pakistan team from Sri Lanka is rapidly going viral on social media. Fans are making fun of the hospitality received by the Pakistan team there.     Pakistan narrowly won against the Netherlands.


    Pakistan's first match in the T20 World Cup was against the Netherlands. In that match, Pakistan was almost defeated by the Netherlands. Pakistan won the match by just three wickets. Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first. In such a situation, the Netherlands scored 147 runs in 19.5 overs. Chasing a target of 148 runs, Pakistan's situation was dire. They won the match with just three balls to spare. Faheem Ashraf came in at the end and played a quick innings. Otherwise, the match would have completely slipped out of Pakistan's hands.


    Pakistan agrees to play against India on February 15th

    Pakistan created a lot of uproar before the India-Pakistan match on February 15th. The Pakistani government had said that they would not play against India on February 15th in support of Bangladesh. However, Pakistan has now taken a U-turn on this matter and agreed to play.


    A meeting was held between the ICC, the Pakistan Cricket Board, and the Bangladesh Cricket Board. It was decided in this meeting that Pakistan would play the group stage match against India. The ICC has also officially confirmed Pakistan's participation. Pakistan has not been able to defeat India in a single match in any format after the 2022 Asia Cup.
