Kolkata: India's festival i.e. the 18th season of IPL has started. On Saturday, the first match of IPL 2025 was played between defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore. In this match, RCB defeated the hosts by 7 wickets. The Bangalore team dominated KKR in both bowling and batting. After losing 4 matches in a row to Kolkata, RCB finally won from them. Kolkata Knight Riders, after losing the toss in the first match of IPL 2025, batted and set a target of 175 runs in front of Bangalore.
