Former RCB captain and run machine Virat Kohli is in great form at the moment. He has made his name in IPL 2025. Kohli is not taking the name of stopping. He is scoring runs in every match. We got to see the same at M Chinnaswamy Stadium against Rajasthan Royals. Virat Kohli looked in great form and scored a half-century.


Kohli, however, missed his century. He was dismissed after scoring 70 runs in 42 balls. During this innings, Kohli's strike rate was 166.67. He also hit eight fours and two sixes.

This was Virat Kohli's fifth half-century of this season against Rajasthan Royals. This was his fifth half-century in the ninth match. A similar form of Kohli was seen in the 2016 IPL season. Or better than this. In that one season itself, Kohli scored four centuries and scored 973 runs. This is the record for the most runs scored by any player in any IPL season so far. RCB reached the final that season. But they were defeated by Sunrisers Hyderabad in the final.

Virat Kohli is second in the Orange Cap list in IPL 2025. He has scored 392 runs in nine innings so far. His strike rate is 144.12. This season, he has hit 35 fours and 13 sixes so far. Only Gujarat Titans opener Sai Sudarshan is above Kohli, who has scored 417 runs in eight innings batting at a strike rate of 152. Sai has hit 42 fours and 15 sixes this season.
