What Is India’s Stand Amid Israel-Iran Ceasefire? Foreign Ministry Issues Clear Message

New Delhi: The US is constantly looking active on the Israel-Iran conflict. In the morning, news of a ceasefire between Israel and Iran came. US President Donald Trump claimed that Israel and Iran have agreed on a 'complete ceasefire'. At the same time, by afternoon there was also news of ceasefire violations. Meanwhile, India says that we are monitoring developments related to the conflict between Iran and Israel overnight. This includes US action against Iran's nuclear facilities and Iran's retaliation against US military bases in Qatar.

    Concerns about regional security, stability

The Indian Foreign Ministry said that while we are deeply concerned about the prospects for overall and sustained regional security and stability, we welcome reports of a ceasefire between Iran and Israel and the role played by the US and Qatar in bringing it about.

    No option other than diplomacy

The Foreign Ministry clearly said, we want to reiterate that there is no option other than dialogue and diplomacy to address and resolve the many conflicts in the region. According to the ministry, India is ready to play its role in these efforts and hopes that all concerned parties will work towards sustained peace and stability.

    Trump unhappy with Israel

President Donald Trump said that Israel and Iran have violated the terms of the ceasefire by attacking after Tuesday's deadline to end hostilities expired. Speaking to reporters at the White House before leaving for the NATO summit in The Hague, Trump expressed disappointment over the continued attacks. Trump said that he violated it, but Israel also violated it. He said that I am not happy with Israel.
