    Yashasvi Jaiswal vs Mitchell Starc: The rivalry that began during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy continued in IPL 2025 as Jaiswal smashed 4, 6, 4 in one over, putting Starc under pressure once again.

    Yashasvi Jaiswal Smashes Starc in IPL, Rekindles Fiery BGT Rivalry with Back-to-Back Boundaries

    New Delhi: In November last year, the Indian cricket team toured Australia. A five-match Test series was played between the two teams. This series is also known as the Border Gavaskar Trophy. Australia won the series 3-1. During this series, there was a tremendous rivalry between Team India's young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal and Australia's experienced fast bowler Mitchell Starc.


    Jaiswal had told Starc during a Test, 'Your ball is coming slow.' After this, Starc also dismissed Jaiswal in some innings. Starc has dismissed Jaiswal 3 times in all formats. However, we also got to see the rivalry between the two in IPL. Yashasvi Jaiswal won the IPL. He thrashed Mitchell Starc.


    Yashasvi Jaiswal hit 3 boundaries in one over to Starc


    Actually, both of them faced each other in the match played between Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals. Jaiswal was playing for RR while Starc was representing the hosts. Mitchell Starc bowled the third over of Rajasthan's innings.


    Yashasvi Jaiswal could not score any runs on the first ball of his over. The next ball was wide. After this, Jaiswal hit a four on the second ball of the over. Then hit a six on the third ball and then hit a four on the fourth ball. The fifth ball of the over was wide. After this, two runs came on a legal delivery. Jaiswal took a single on the last ball of the over. In this way, 19 runs were scored in one over of Starc.


    Jaiswal got out after scoring 51 runs

    Yashasvi Jaiswal continued his form against Delhi Capitals and scored a half-century playing a brilliant innings. Jaiswal scored 51 runs facing 37 balls and batting at a strike rate of 137.84. He hit 3 fours and 4 sixes in his innings.
