Bihar’s Daughter Kamala Bissessar Set to Become PM Again in Trinidad & Tobago

Buxar: Kamala Prasad Bissessar, daughter of a small village Bhelupur in Buxar district of Bihar, is going to become the Prime Minister once again in the Caribbean country Trinidad and Tobago. Kamala of this village of Itahari block has also been the Prime Minister earlier from 2010 to 2015. Her party United National Congress (UNC) has won the majority in the recent elections. Not only Bhelupur, but the whole of India is happy with this news because Kamala had brought her village in front of the world while searching for her roots.

    Wave of happiness in Bihar

There is a wave of happiness in Bihar due to Kamala Prasad Bissessar's re-election in Trinidad and Tobago. Especially, there is a festive atmosphere in her native village Bhelupur. Kamala has previously been the Prime Minister of the country from 2010 to 2015. Now once again she will hold this post. Kamala's ancestors went to Trinidad from Bhelupur village of Bihar. Her great grandfather Ramlakhan went to Trinidad in a ship from Kolkata in 1889. The name of Bhelupur village was in the records of laborers going abroad during the British rule. On this basis, Kamala found her village.

Kamala came to Bhelupur in 2012

After becoming the Prime Minister in 2010, Kamala decided to search for her roots. In 2012, she visited her ancestral village Bhelupur. During this time, she met her distant relatives. The villagers welcomed her warmly. She prayed in the village temple and remembered her ancestors. Kamala also promised to provide financial help for the village school and community center. This improved education and other important things in the village. Kamala had said at that time that this is not just a journey for me, but an emotional experience of connecting with my roots. Bhelupur will always remain in my heart.

A proud moment for the country

There is a feeling of pride in Bihar on Kamala's victory. Jagdish Mishra, who is her uncle, said that this is a proud moment for the whole country. Her brothers Om Prakash Mishra and Bharat Mishra said that the news of Kamala becoming the Prime Minister again has brought happiness in the entire village. Her nephews Sonu, Monu, Roshan, Raj, Ajit, Golu, Rahul and Dayanand are also very happy that their aunt is going to become the Prime Minister of a country again. He hopes that his aunt will come back to her village after becoming the Prime Minister.
