New Delhi: Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has launched a fierce attack on PM Modi regarding the conversation between External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Rahul Gandhi questioned PM Modi's diplomacy on his X handle, going so far as to label him an 'obedient servant' of the US. He remarked that the US is openly issuing orders to kill people while our 'compromised' PM maintains silence.
The obedient servant immediately complied: Rahul Gandhi
Writing on his X handle, Rahul Gandhi stated that just days after the killing of three Indian sailors in US strikes, there has been neither regret nor an apology. On the contrary, the US has continued to issue orders. He cited their words: "Immediately obey US military orders; no violation will be tolerated."
No sovereign nation would ever tolerate such language. Yet, our 'compromised' PM remains silent. He listens like an obedient servant and complies with orders. A 'compromised' PM will not protect the nation's honor—because he is beholden to those who insult the country.
Plight under a 'compromised' PM
In another post on his X handle, Rahul Gandhi stated that under the rule of a 'compromised' PM, being Indian means facing a wretched plight. Foreign powers kill our citizens. Our government, acting like an obedient servant, silently accepts orders—leaving our citizens to rot. Bring this Indian home. Now. Attacks on three ships involving the US Navy
It is worth noting that three separate attacks occurred over three consecutive days near the coast of Oman, involving the US Navy and Central Command. Three Indian sailors lost their lives in these attacks.
Following these deaths, opposition parties in the country have been relentlessly targeting the government. Meanwhile, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs has strongly condemned these attacks.
Terming the targeting of commercial vessels and civilian infrastructure as wrong, India has summoned Jason Meeks, the Chargé d'Affaires at the US Embassy in New Delhi, to lodge a strong protest.
